Whether they were sunk purposely to create artificial reefs for divers or the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows into the past. Ships, airplanes, and even automobiles are fascinating to explore and are usually filled with aquatic life. Each dive on a wreck offers the opportunity to discover something new, perhaps by unraveling a mystery or observing something never noticed by others. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is very popular because, while following strict exploration procedures, it offers exhilarating adventures.
